Valley Opportunity Council- Adult Basic Education provides free classes designed to help participants acquire the skills and credentials needed to achieve economic self-sufficiency and engage meaningfully in their communities as workers, parents, and community members.

The Gray House The Adult Education Program provides educational services to adult learners. This important program offers English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) services, basic skills (reading, writing and math) tutoring, beginner English conversation classes and literacy development for resettled refugees.

Community Education Project offers native language literacy in Spanish, Pre-GED in Spanish, three levels of English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), an adult basic education- to- college transition on Holyoke Community College, a bridge to transition classes at the Picknelly center, and lastly a variety of support services and referrals to make sure adult learners focus on their educational and career goals.

Holyoke Community College Adult Learning Center- provide basic skills instruction in math, writing, and reading to adult learners in order to prepare them for their High School Equivalency Certificate (through the HiSet or GED test), jobs, or higher education.
